GOVERNMENT DEFENSE CONTRACT SOFTWARE ENGINEERING FIRM
- GRAPHIC DESIGN
- RENDERING, ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR
- MODELING, MICROSOFT MAYA
As an intern at Tech Wizards, I am responsible for looking at data collection from military environments and recreating the images in highly detailed digital form. I use Adobe Illustrator for 2D graphics and Microsoft Maya for 3D polygonal modeling. These graphics are then sent to our team of software engineers. They use the game engine Unity to produce virtual reality training applications. I also participated in the testing of some applications and had the opportunity to provide feedback regarding user experience. I have gained knowledge surrounding the aesthetics and design of military equipment, as well as the environments this machinery exists in. In addition, I have begun to understand some of how defense contractors operate and the general needs surrounding training.
